INTRODUCTION
Welcome to EcoTip.
EcoTip is a digital platform operated by Shareful Limited that connects customers with independent Suppliers for non-hazardous waste services.
By accessing the EcoTip platform, submitting a request, receiving a quotation, paying a Booking Fee, or arranging services through EcoTip, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use EcoTip.
ECOTIP’S ROLE
EcoTip acts solely as a technology platform and booking facilitator.
EcoTip does not directly:
• Collect waste
• Transport waste
• Store waste
• Process waste
• Treat waste
• Dispose of waste
Waste services are performed by independent Suppliers operating through the EcoTip platform.
Suppliers remain fully responsible for their licences, insurance, vehicles, staff, transport activities, collections, disposal activities, legal compliance, and operational conduct.
NON-HAZARDOUS WASTE ONLY
EcoTip only facilitates services involving non-hazardous waste.
Customers must not submit, offer, conceal, misdescribe, or attempt to dispose of hazardous materials through EcoTip.
EcoTip reserves the right to refuse, suspend, cancel, investigate, or report any booking involving suspected hazardous materials or unlawful activity.
CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Customers are responsible for ensuring all information submitted through EcoTip is accurate, complete, truthful, and up to date.
This includes:
• Waste descriptions
• Photographs
• Quantities
• Collection locations
• Access information
• Stair access
• Parking restrictions
• Timing requirements
• Loading requirements
• Collection instructions
• Delivery instructions
• Storage requirements
• Any other information relevant to the booking
EcoTip and its Suppliers rely on this information when providing quotations, allocating Suppliers, scheduling services, and planning collections.
THE ECOTIP UNIVERSAL FORM
Customers acknowledge that EcoTip relies upon information submitted through the EcoTip Universal Form.
Any quotation provided is based upon the information supplied through the Universal Form, supporting photographs, communications, and additional information provided by the Customer.
If submitted information is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, false, or materially different from the actual job, EcoTip reserves the right to:
• Re-quote the booking
• Delay the booking
• Suspend the booking
• Cancel the booking
• Apply a Call-Out Fee
• Refuse future bookings
QUOTATIONS
All quotations are estimates based upon information available at the time they are provided.
Quotations remain subject to verification.
EcoTip does not guarantee that an initial quotation will remain unchanged where actual job conditions differ from the information supplied.
BOOKING FEE
A Booking Fee is required to confirm a booking.
The Booking Fee contributes towards:
• Supplier sourcing
• Supplier allocation
• Scheduling
• Quote management
• Booking administration
• Platform operation
• Customer support
• Operational planning
No booking is confirmed until the Booking Fee has been received.
Operational work begins once a Booking Fee has been paid.
VERIFICATION PROCESS
Before any collection, loading, lifting, transportation, clearance, delivery, storage, or disposal activity begins, the assigned Supplier must verify the booking.
Verification may include:
• Waste inspection
• Quantity assessment
• Access assessment
• Safety assessment
• Photographic verification
• Site inspection
No collection work shall commence until verification has been completed.
RE-QUOTE PROCESS
If the assigned Supplier identifies any material difference between the information submitted and the actual job, EcoTip may issue a revised quotation.
Material differences may include:
• Waste type
• Waste quantity
• Waste volume
• Access restrictions
• Labour requirements
• Vehicle requirements
• Collection conditions
• Site conditions
• Job complexity
• Additional phases of work
The Customer may either:
a) Accept the revised quotation and proceed; or
b) Decline the revised quotation and cancel the booking.
.MULTI-PHASE JOBS
Certain bookings may involve multiple phases, locations, collections, deliveries, storage requirements, repeat visits, or operational stages.
Where additional phases become necessary or are discovered after booking, EcoTip reserves the right to revise pricing accordingly.
.CALL-OUT FEES
The Booking Fee may be retained and applied as a Call-Out Fee where:
• The Supplier has attended the location;
• Information provided was inaccurate;
• Information provided was incomplete;
• Information provided was misleading;
• Material information was omitted;
• The Customer refuses a revised quotation;
• Access prevents completion;
• The Customer is unavailable;
• The booking cannot proceed due to Customer-related issues.
The Call-Out Fee compensates for Supplier travel, operational planning, scheduling, administration, and time incurred.
.PAYMENTS
All payments must be processed through EcoTip.
Customers must not make direct payments to Suppliers.
Suppliers must not request direct payments from Customers.
Any attempt to bypass EcoTip’s payment systems may result in cancellation, suspension, investigation, or termination of access.
.NON-CIRCUMVENTION
Customers must not deliberately attempt to bypass EcoTip by arranging services directly with Suppliers introduced through the EcoTip platform.
EcoTip reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where deliberate circumvention is identified.
.EVIDENCE & RECORDS
EcoTip and its Suppliers may collect and retain:
• Photographs
• Videos
• Timestamps
• GPS information
• Disposal receipts
• Waste Transfer Notes
• Communications
• Booking records
• Payment records
• Collection records
for compliance, operational, verification, safety, regulatory, and dispute-resolution purposes.
.DISPUTES
In the event of a dispute, EcoTip may rely upon:
• Universal Form submissions
• Photographs
• Videos
• Disposal documentation
• Communication records
• Platform records
• Supplier evidence
• Customer evidence
EcoTip reserves the right to investigate disputes before reaching a decision.
.FRAUD, MISREPRESENTATION & ABUSE
EcoTip reserves the right to refuse service, suspend access, cancel bookings, retain applicable fees, terminate accounts, or report matters to the relevant authorities where:
• Fraud is suspected
• False information is provided
• Fly-tipping is suspected
• Hazardous waste is involved
• Abuse occurs
• Threats occur
• Criminal activity is suspected
• Platform rules are deliberately circumvented
.FORCE MAJEURE
EcoTip shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, failures, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:
• Severe weather
• Road closures
• Vehicle breakdowns
• Disposal site closures
• Government restrictions
• Industrial action
• Infrastructure failures
• Emergencies
.LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
EcoTip acts solely as a booking facilitator and technology platform.
Customers acknowledge that services are provided by independent Suppliers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EcoTip shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, business, revenue, or profit losses arising from services performed by independent Suppliers.
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.
.PRIVACY
Customer information shall be handled in accordance with EcoTip’s Privacy Policy.
By using EcoTip, Customers consent to the collection, storage, processing, and use of information required for operating the platform and providing services.
.CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
EcoTip may amend these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the platform following publication of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
.GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the services are provided.
